Christian and his team at Home Living Construction were wonderful to work with as they restored our home with new flooring, drywall, paint and more. They were very organized, prompt, and professional. They came ready with a thoughtful plan, creative ideas and communicated clearly throughout the project. I enjoyed working with them because they were easy to work with and also accommodating of all my needs and wants. I also enjoyed working with Audrey, the office manager because she was always willing to help and promptly answer any questions. I will absolutely hire Home Living Construction again for my next project.

My home was damaged from a water/sewage leak and HLC came to the rescue. Jeff came out the next day! This was my first insurance claim and Jeff/HLC helped me through the entire process. Audrey, assisted with all my invoicing and Kevin did a fantastic job on the house. Highly recommend HLC.

HLC, in conjunction with PuroClean, did a terrific job in mold remediation and the rebuild. The timing wasn't the best, given that the work was beginning just as COVID-19 began keeping us all in our homes and social distancing. Christian, Vince, and their team worked hard to get everything done as quickly as possible (in case construction suddenly changed to "non-essential), while making sure that the quality of their work was up to their standards. While in my home, the workers all kept their distance from me and ensured a safe environment. I also appreciate Christian's diligent work with my insurance company to ensure that I get everything I'm entitled to from them.

We recently had extensive water damage to our home, this was our first ever experience dealing with such a situation. Rick from PuroClean came to our home as a blessing. He referred us to Christian & Jeff of Home Living Construction. They came to evaluate the damage and prepare our claim for insurance, during the visit they were very patient to work with us. They work with insurance directly to make things easier for us. Considering the damage and urgency to fix our home during COVID 19, they were considerate to fix our home on a priority basis. Christian overlooked our project, painter, plumber, electrician and everyone on their team were punctual, expert in their field & following all COVID 19 restrictions while in our home.We are extremely happy with their service, grateful for flexibility to work with us. They exceeded all our expectations as a contractor. Our home is better than before. I highly recommend them for any need, and will be back to them for future projects in our home.Christian treated us as his family, we welcome them as part of our extended family as well.We pray for their success and safety!

I had water damage to my unit due to neighbor negligence and Jeff was one of the 7 contractors I interviewed. This was my first time dealing with a home issue or using my homeowner's insurance. Jeff was fantastic-- he helped me understand the full extent of the damage and worked with me and the estimators to provide a detailed estimate. Jeff was the reason I was able to get almost an all new kitchen covered by insurance!

In addition, the team worked diligently and carefully puling together the kitchen of my dreams.

Great experience with this family owned business who have extensive experiences dealing with insurance claims! Had water damage from upstairs bathroom, patched up a 2' x 4' 1st floor ceiling and repaired a bathroom included toilet area, partial drywall along with floor & tub surround tiles. Jeff, the senior estimator, arrived on-time, thoroughly checked out the damages with knowledgeable recommendations. Audrey, the office manager, promptly followed up and addressed any concerns I had throughout my insurance claim process, especially in coordinating the necessary information needed from the insurance claim adjuster. Also Angel, the project manager, is always on top of my concerns and questions, straight forward explanations and very accommodating to my requests.

In March 2018, there was a windstorm, which caused shingle damage on my roof. After getting an estimate from the insurance company I called Home Living Design for an estimate. The contractor came to my house to look at the damage. We discussed the insurance estimate and his knowledge of the current code was the deciding factor to do business with his company. Because my house was built in the 1970's it needed an upgrade for an ice and water barrier. He prepared the estimate provided it to me promptly. He communicated with the insurance adjuster about minor changes to the estimate and he was able to schedule the job for the following week. I was also glad to see he came to check on the work while the crew was completing the job. Communication was great as we were able to communicate via e-mail and text. This was important to me because sometimes it's hard to communicate via phone due to my job. The staff is very helpful and are also on top of things when the contractor is working in the field. The crew did a great job and the roof looks very good.

We recently had to do mold remediation and large-scale restoration in the kitchen of my son's condo. Christian Bennett and his team from Home Living Construction were outstanding during the entire difficult experience.

A few weeks ago, the family that rents my son's condo reported signs of water damage in the hardwood floor adjacent to the kitchen. We asked a mold specialist to inspect the problem and he gave us the bad news that a slow leak under the kitchen cabinets had saturated most of the cabinet walls and drywall behind them, and had caused a major mold infestation. After completing the mold remediation, we engaged Christian and Home Living Designs to repair and replace the cabinets, drywall and wood flooring as well as to install a new dishwasher and to do some related plumbing work. We ended up having to replace the entire wood floor and all of the cabinets, as well as patching and repainting the affected drywall.

From the beginning to the end of this job, I was greatly impressed with Christian's responsiveness, professionalism and honesty. His crew did an excellent job of completing all the repairs within a very short time and did a quality job through-out. Whenever we called him, Christian took the time to explain our options and to answer all our questions. He also stayed within the original estimated budget. I highly recommend Christian and his company.
